Design: ISD Architects, joinery and details by Gavin Scott

Heavily focussed on ecologically sound design principles, whilst employing the highest quality workmanship and detailing.

Designed as a holiday house for rent, to cater for small functions or groups. Built into a steep site, and split level, the house wanders down the block allowing for many unique spaces.

Exposed rammed earth feature walls tower skywards, creating a strong bond to the surrounding hillsides, with detailed use of timber milled on-site from trees that would normally be discarded. Highly featured and warmly coloured with timber, the house radiates daylight. Active solar technology has been applied to capture the sun’s rays for power and hot water.
